Mariana Amaral

Mariana Amaral holds a degree in Actor Training from Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema (ESTC) and has developed her career as an actress, creator and performer. She founded Companhia da Chaminé, devoted to theatre for all ages, created Histórias de Musear for Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian and brought Maria Pia to life at Palácio Nacional da Ajuda. She also works as a voice-over artist and coordinates the theatre group at Associação Pais 21. It is through theatre and voice work that she now comes to poetry, accepting Raquel Marinho's invitation to give it body and voice at FLIS.
