How to get there

FLIS headquarters are at MU.SA — Museu das Artes de Sintra, in Estefânia, in the heart of the town. Sessions take place at MU.SA, except for the concerts, which happen at Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval — right next door.

  • By train

CP's Sintra line connects Lisbon to the town with departures from Rossio and Oriente (stopping at Entrecampos); the journey takes about 40 minutes. From Sintra station to MU.SA it is a few minutes on foot, through Estefânia.

  • By plane

Lisbon Airport is about 30 km from the town. From the airport, the metro takes you to Gare do Oriente, where the trains to Sintra depart.

  • By car

The town is reached via the IC19 (from Lisbon), the IC30 (from Mafra) or the EN9, via the A5 (from Cascais). To avoid congestion in the historic centre, the peripheral car parks managed by EMES are recommended, with quick links to the centre.

  • By bus

The town is served by Carris Metropolitana (urban network) and Sintra434 (tourist circuits to the palaces and castles), with stops by Estefânia and the train station.

The venues

The two buildings are next to each other, in Estefânia, a few minutes on foot from Sintra train station.
