Dulce Maria Cardoso

Dulce Maria Cardoso has published the novels Eliete, O Retorno, O Chão dos Pardais, Os Meus Sentimentos and Campo de Sangue. Most of the short stories she wrote for magazines and newspapers were collected in the anthologies Até Nós (2008) and Tudo São Histórias de Amor (2013).

In 2017, the texts Rosas were published, written during Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s stay in Lisboa, when the choreographer was Artista na Cidade.

Her work is studied at universities in several countries, featuring on curricula, and has been the subject of several academic theses and adapted for cinema, theatre and television. Her texts are published in more than twenty countries and have received prestigious awards.

She wrote the column «Autobiografia não autorizada for Visão. She was a commentator on the television channel SIC, on the programme Original é a Cultura. In 2012, the French state made her a Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters.
